Judging by the number of times I answered in the middle, I have to believe this is flawed. I'm pro gay marriage, pro life, and pro choice.

It's amusing. I already closed the page, but it said I was one of the bleeding hearts, whatever that means. I just went through it quickly. To me most of it was overly broad and I thought it was slightly unusual how the scales read left to right (I don't mean politically) on disagree to agree on some then the opposite on others.

Edit: My problem with parts of it has to do with a lack of qualifiers. As an example it mentions voter id, yet nothing regarding planning or implementation. They just jam in prior front page issues and assign an ambiguous scale with poor frame of reference.

Mine was near center, but I think I have extreme views on both ends of the spectrum and they just kind of average out.

It called me a "#whateverman" even though I consider myself a libertarian and stay very involved with politics...

I'm a bleeding heart. And to think that circa 1970 I was considered "conservative".

If I believed this scale was vaguely accurate, I would be worried that the country has lurched even further to the right than I thought.

It's lurched further to the left. You have that backwards.

Apparently, I'm a "bleeding heart." I tried to game it and ended up being a #whateverman, so it appears to set your score based on the opinions you hold most strongly.
So, you can be a social moderate and a fiscal conservative and still end up in the red zone.

I always love these arguments. They're the political equivalent of the Observer Effect.

Agreed, def not accurate I tried to be as reasonable and moderate with my answers as possible. Either the old moderate really is left wing, or something's going on.

    ----------

 Well obviously if you're conservative then that's what you think and if you're liberal you'd think otherwise.

I got the same as the OP.

Although I must remember that this is saying I am a "bleeding-heart left wing" by American standards. In reality I am sure that I am so left-wing that I'm off the scales on this website.

Judging from your past posts I'd say it got it just about right.

I know you like to claim you're progressive, but time after time I've read your opinions and thought, "Wait. What? Progressive?!"

You let me know when the far right starts voting for gays, abortions, and immigrants, then I'll agree with you.
