I had a few songs from different albums i wanted to put on a audio cd with the album artwork attached. I had the pics in a folder on my desktop and attached them to the songs manually. Get info-artwork-add. the artwork shows up attached to the songs on the playlist i created for the this cd but not on the same songs on the cd i burned. In the artwork window it says -album artwork not modifiable-. Anyone know the reason for this?

    thanks in advance

Cover art is stored as a part of the tag file in mp3 and acc format. Audio CDs don't have that function as a part of the file format, so the artwork is dropped when it encodes the files to that format.

I'm guessing, but if you burned the disk as an mp3 CD rather than Audio CD i'd think it would hold on to the artwork.
