i just google my images, i don't really care if they are pristine quality, i just wish they all would fit perfectly in the little square like without borders around them.. :(

If you want GOOD/PREFECT quality artwork so that you can view it in a 2x2 screen......

Amazon's pics are bigger than 2x2 so they might lose some quality due to compression. If you care that much, just photoshop the images yourself....

Psst...

Step 1. Go to iTMS, ctrl+click your favorite album, select "Copy Address"

Step 2. Go Here.

Step 3. Enjoy your hi-res album art.

But i just get like wierd text...

Make sure you actually go to the album, you know where it would say "Buy Album" and have the list of songs, and maybe a little description. Use that link.

don't work for me :(
go into the IMS search for an artist, click on that artist, and inside where it gives you info about that album,
right click (control-click) the album cover art and '"Copy iTunes Music Store URL"

paste that link into this
page and it will give you 2 links, click on one of them...

*anyways THANKS yellow5!!!

I do have to say, that:

(a) this is a funny thread.
(b) the people who did Fetch Art should try to incorporate images from iTMS where possible using this.
(c) see (a).

Thanks for the great tip yellow5, but I have to allocate the album art for each individual track or is there an easy way to do it for a whole album.
Cheers

If you highlight all the songs to which you want to apply the art, and drag the art to the album art box in the lower left corner, or open the info window and drag it into there, then it will apply to all songs on the album. :)

However, AFAIK the art is still stored multiply, once per song. :(

Thanks for the tip - that's outstanding. I've been scanning all of my album artwork up to now...

Yeah, I wish it would just store one file for the entire album. I'm currently using Clutter becasue of this right now. If you have a large library of music, this can take up a lot of space.

I also only have a 3rd gen ipod, so viewing art on my pod is not an issue.
