good deal. we all knew this was going to happen, but we have a release date now... was hoping it would be sooner, ah well :) at least i get the game now...

tho i suspect it will be the final straw that makes me upgrade from my imac 400... which isn't a bad thing...

Excellent, i love all the SimCity games (though 3000 was a bit dubious)

Yay, very excited when I heard this.

Wasn't expecting it till at least the second half of this year, so this is great news! Now hurry up May :)

Hope it won't take a 970 to play it...

I know it runs slow on what, every PC? Hopefully they will do a suitable port!!!

Personally i can't wait!!! Now all i need is C&C!

    LOL

the PPC won't be available until september (at best), why would they ship a game in may that will only run on a processor that won't be available for at least 5 months :p

I've never played a SimCity game. This might be my first.

I was alluding to the fact that most PC's with sky-high specs choke on Sim City 4 like a presidential pretzel...

So hopefully it won't be made for Apple's future line of computers!! Cause that would suck...

    But what am i talking about, i have a B&W G3 350.... uhhhh.....

    :)

Ok, well your probably going to have a bit of a problem there then, in my opinion..

Id say at least a G4 with pretty high spec graphics card a la radeon 8500,9000 or a GeForce 4 MX (maybe)

but, thats just what i think...

Glad to hear it is coming to Mac! Sim City 2000 was great. The graphics in 3000 were improved, but I'm not sure if the gameplay was better or worse. Hopefully this version will have both better graphics and better gameplay.

Anyone have any idea what it will take to run this game? I saw it played on a somewhat decent (heh) PC, and it was lagging pretty bad.
