The speedometer is sorta just for fun. I took it at the same time as the other one.
Speedometer:
Shutter - 1/8
Aperture - 2.8
ISO - 320
Hand held

And then I thought his one was kinda cool. I tried a bunch of different things for this one, but a lot of them are like other people's already, so I'll stick with this one. It's a parking lot light.
Shutter: 2 seconds
Aperture: 5.2
ISO - 80
Hand held

A geographical oddity
Nobody thought my spiderweb was darkness?

I wasn't positive that's what it was (although it looked like it, I would have hated to be wrong), so I kept my trap shut.

So far, with the way the web captured the light, I think it is the best one posted this month.

Also, it is easier to keep it clean than you might think. The marble holds its color and hides dust very well. The most disappointing part is that pictures really don't do it justice.

No, I really liked it Abstract. I just didn't get round to commenting at the time.:) BTW, nice portrait virividox.

Anyway here is another one from me. This ones not from my dslr. You may be able to tell:p Anyway, my mobile died, so I decided to get myself the Nokia N73 as an early x-mas pressie:D Smartphone with 3.2 Megapixel cam and Zeiss f 2.8-5.6 lens.

I've only had it for 24 hours, so I am still getting used to it. But I decided to put it to the test and see how it would do with a very contrasty dark/bright situation. This is a photo of the newest bridge connecting north & south copenhagen.

The little bit of camera shake is my fault:eek:

Bridge

Wasn't terribly happy with my last entry for the assignment. So decided to reshoot. This time from the other side of the bridge. Hope you like it.

BTW. Happy New Year to you all!:D

Hey Abstract, what is the subject in post #37? It looks like a boxing ring taken from above. Care to enlighten us?

It's a light hanging from the ceiling. I'm in Japan right now, and Japanese lights tend to be square when they hang from ceilings. The ceiling was dark, so this worked out well. I had to underexpose quite a bit to make the ceiling so black, but I guess it worked. :)

Aaaahhh. Now I see it......still looks like a wooden boxing ring though;)

With that and "the web" you've got some really nice entries. Well done.

Tried it just now with success using the lasso version of the clone/stamp tool.
