Has anyone tried this product yet? It claims not to void the Apple Warranty and gives you....

aTV Flash is a USB flash drive that inserts into the AppleTV and will upgrade it to do all kinds of new things. The software installs automatically, and no modification or coding is required. Also, it will NOT void your warranty.

    Key Features:
    - Play most video formats (DivX, Xvid, AVI, WMV, RMVB + more)
    - Play DVD files WITHOUT converting them
    - Sync, organize and watch non-iTunes video files
    - Browse the web with a Safari based web browser
    - Rent & watch Hi-Def movies from Jaman.com
    - Stream media from UPnP(v1) media servers
    - View local weather forecasts
    - View RSS Feeds
    - Enable SSH access
    - All original Apple TV features remain intact
    - And much, much more...

Includes Easy-Start guide to get you up and running in minutes.

Not yet, but I'd buy it in a heartbeat if Couch Surfer could play MLB.com game broadcasts. Has anyone heard if this would?

    Lost on appleTV

Yeah, I'd buy it too, if I could stream hulu.com and Lost from abc.com to the appleTV through the web browser.

Who will be the first to buy this and try out all these cool things? :)

Tried emailling ATV Flash about MLB, etc. but they haven't responded.

So I looked over this site, and looked at all the pix, and I am sorely tempted to try it out.

I mean, $60? That's not a lot of money if it we don't lose any 2.02 functionality. I did not see any mention of music, and all of my music is synced. And what about the iPhoto link-up?

    Anyone know?

Like it's been said in the other threads, all this software can be had for free over at awkwardtv.org. Someone is just taking all the software and bundling it up.

As for couchsurfer's flash support: it is shaky at best.
