ATV2 firware update made me lose my video signal

I have an ATV2 plugged into an HDMI to DVI adapter and it worked (albeit with fuzzy edges) when I first purchased. Ever since I upated the firmware to the 4.2 version I lost video. The sound still works, but I can't get the video to work. Any ideas on how to regain video signal?
