audio books

    Where does everyone here buy audiobooks? I want the catcher in the rye and put it on my ipod, but audible.com doesnt have it. Any suggestions?

    I borrow audio books on CD from my local library and rip them in aac@48kbps. Good enough to listen to...

    I, too, am a library borrower. I use some iTunes AppleScripts to convert them into m4b's or whatever it is that lets you bookmark them. I just started doing it this way (used to use MP3 at about 32kbs/mono as I have a CD based MP3 player in my car) so that I would have an excuse to buy an iPod. (Shuffle or refurb 1G mini, not sure yet).
