I have a Mac Pro 2009 4,1 with the 5,1 mac pro firmware upgrade. I just installed a GTX 760 into it but it seems I cannot get the mac to recognize the card for audio out. I have installed the latest nVidia web driver with no avail. It is outputting though HDMI to HDMI. When I had this card in my PC I was able to output audio through it so it isn't the card. I was wondering if there is anything else to try to get audio to output through the card? I have looked around online but all I'm finding is fixes for Hackintosh. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
