Auto-correction problem....

I have the latest update on my iPad. I set both the auto-correction and auto-capitalization to OFF...but they won't go off. Also, the "." when I double-tap is on even though I set it to OFF as well. I'm getting sooo tired of having to bring up the external keyboard to turn off the auto-caps...etc. Is there a fix to this problem?

are you using a 3rd party keyboard or the stock iOS one?

I'm using the Apple keyboard. Never had any trouble before all these latest iOS upgrades. Other things are not working right either. My Macro's (text replacement) no longer work. And when I'm typing here, if I hit the directional keys it jumps me to the bottom of the page....

Yep it makes me hate Apple so much I want to sell all my stuff!
