I have been using manual sync with my iPod. I was using iPod Video 5th Generation for the past two years or so. I recently purchased iPod Touch, and want to sync my music library onto it. I realized that there is an auto sync option in iTunes, which I have never used. It was fine when it was around 500 songs, but time passed and I have some close to 3000 songs in the library. It's kinda getting out of hand to manually organize it. (Just realized how much unlawful downloads I have done and also spent so much money on music through iTunes store... but that's another issue) Question: If I select Auto-sync, and say, if I delete a file or change a file from my source (hard drive), does it also do the same on the iPod? Or is it just going to stay there? If my guess is correct, then if I delete say 100 of the music tracks on the hard drive library, then it will delete them on my iPod as well? Thanks for your help.
