    Dearest friends,

I am a long-time Mac user and I am SO thrilled to deliver this good news to you.

Today I received a DVD in the mail (Amélie) and used my SuperDrive for the first time. I thought I was in for the usual - a boring, regular DVD-on-laptop experience.

But NO siree! My SuperDrive makes the sound of a real, live CINEMA REEL. That's right folks, it spins and you can hear every revolution.

Will I send it back? No - not because I'm actually thrilled, but because life is not perfect, and the costs outweigh the benefits. Anyway, at least it sounds realistic and isn't like a motor sound or something.

Haha. Now just purchase one of those retro popcorn machines off Ebay and cut the lights for that real cinema experience! :p

Uhh... DVD drives are made by third parties. Every now and then, one of these third party drives will fail. Yes, it does happen.

Drive failures happen to more than one person with every brand. It's an unfortunate part of life. What do you suggest Apple does? Sue Matsushita (or whoever the provider of the drive is)?
