    A few Albums of mention:

Béla Fleck & the Flecktones: Live Art
Béla Fleck & the Flecktones: Little Worlds

    http://www.flecktones.com/

A fusion of many kinds of music, this is one the most technically talented bands around. Not only does this band possess one of the best banjo players out there (Béla Fleck), it also possesses one of the best bass players right up there with Jaco Pastorious of Weather Report (Victor Wooten).

    Also of mention:

Tony Furtado & the American Gypsies: Live Gypsy

This Guy is Talented especially with the slide guitar & banjo.

Tony Furtado isn't related to Nelly Furtado is he?

They both look of hispanic origins, and they have the same last name.

My face lit up when I saw this thread! It's great to find some other people who know who the Flecktones are! I saw them in concert last year and they were quite a sight to see...just incredible. I've been a fan for several years now. And yes, Victor Wooten is amazing.

I also have a Tony Furtado CD (Within Reach). What else should I buy of his? I really enjoy this one.
