I'm ready to buy the 60G video iPod but wanted to know first if one can transfer over all their completed slide shows w Ken Burns moves and pre choosen music and effects into the iPod.
I have numerous travel projects I've created that ideally I would like to show people while on the go with out lugging my MacBook with me.
I was told you can't do this. Only photo rolls, or albums can be exported and you have to create new slide shows in the Pod.
True/False, anyone?

I believe it is true that by default you cannot view iPhoto slideshows, however you can export your iPhoto slideshows as Quicktime movies, then add them to iTunes and they can be played back (after possible conversion to MPEG 4) on the iPod.

You should also realise that new iPods are almost certain to be announced this autumn with September 12th looking likely.

PS for future posts please try and use proper spelling (e.g. Before instead of B4), a lot of people on Macrumors get irritated by it and are less likely to post.
