I know there are Babylon 5 fans out there--did you see this? I didn't see it posted.

LOS ANGELES - Richard Biggs, who played Dr. Stephen Franklin on the TV science fiction series 'Babylon 5,' died after collapsing suddenly in his home, his agent said. He was 44.

Biggs collapsed and died around 7 a.m. Saturday after getting out of bed, said Donna Neuman, Biggs' agent and close friend. The cause of death has not been determined, Neuman said.

"It's absolutely devastating," said Neuman, who lives in Detroit. "It was very sudden."

Biggs, a graduate of the University of Southern California's School of Theatre, also appeared as Dr. Marcus Hunter in NBC's "Days of Our Lives," as well as a number of other television shows and movies.

Biggs is survived by his wife, Lori, and two children, Hunter, 2, and Richard James III, 5.
