"Back" and "Forward" icons missing in Safari.

The "Back" and "Forward" icons in Safari have suddenly disappeared, I don't know what happened to them. I haven't made any changes to the browser either. Is there a way to set your toolbar?

Go to View --> Customize Address Bar... and drag the buttons back into your address bar.

Right/ctrl-click the toolbar, and choose Customize Toolbar...

You can get them back by looking under 'Customise Address Bar' under 'View' in the Menu Bar.

Ahh thank you very much! How strange, I dunno how they disappeared in the first place.

Chances are you just accidentally dragged it out of the Address Bar – it can be easily done.

You may have accidentally had "control" held down while you clicked on one of the buttons and then drifted your mouse pointer ever so slightly over to the "Remove Item" command. It might have happened so quickly that you didn't even notice.
