backing up save games on xbox 360 hard drive?

    So, I was curious..is there a way to save your backup saved games onto your computer? Just wanted to know in case a hard drive failure occurs....

    Yeah, that's pretty much it.

    I asked Major Nelson at Microsoft a loooooong time ago if they'd consider adding the ability to back up your games across the network to your PC, but I never got a response. The 360 is pretty good at reading information from different sources, but the only two places it'll write data are a memory unit and a 360 hard drive.

    does that xport 360 thing work wirelessly? or do you need to have it connected with a hard wire?
