That has to be one of the most disturbing things I have ever seen.

I think it's nice to see someone excited about their company and the products it sells. :D

Insane, stupid, both... I can tell you, my wife doesn't support the way he speaks, after she saw "Developers, developers..." she doesn't want to hear anything about the fat guy...

Given the Microsoft Dance clip - Balmer needs to be introduced to decaf coffee!

Isn't there an irony here? We all download a Ballmer clip to trash the guy, because he's hawking Microsft stuff. But we are viewing it in Windows media player. :)

It's a shame that all the videos on eBaum are in M$ format. :( Can't you open it in VLC, or something?

    Anyway, there's a non-MS version here:

Well if that company made me a billion dollars I would be running around hooping and hollering to.
I might actually tolerate them then as well....

    I'm such a sell out. :(

Ballmer = used car sales man. That was worse than an info-mercial. That was scary. How these people got ahead is beyond me. Sell a crappy product, promise better in the next version, fall short because of time constraints, add a bunch of new crappy features that don't work well and are riddled with security issues, promise better in future (paid) upgrades, dominate field using FUD and monopolistic behavior, repeat ad nauseum. Profit off the misery of others!

Does any actually like Windows? I always figured most people just tolerate it. I do, but barely that even.

Unfortunately, yes, some people actually do like Windows. A few of them (fett101, Viper) occasionally post at the forum you linked to. I moderate the Mac section. :)

I suspect, however, that many of those who claim to be Windows fanboys are actually just Mac bashers, since there is no point or fun in advocating a platform that already constitutes the majority.

Microsoft got ahead because Apple dropped the ball when they had the bigger market share...

    Silly Apple....

(Supressing gag reflex...) He sounds like a car sales man. Now how much do you think Windows is worth? Don't answer... :D

After lurking around this thread since the morning, I've only just been bothered to download the vid ... and now rather regret I hadn't.

The man is a moron if he thinks this markets well. It has the depth of a Sesame Street counting game.

Hehe. Saw this for the first time just yesterday watching the (now classic) documentary Triumph of the Nerds presented by Robert X Cringely. Now it pops up here, coincidence eh?

Good to see the man hasn't changed, as opposed to someone driven to idiocy by his position of power, it's great to see that he's simply an idiot. :)

OMG, me too! I watched "Triumph of the Nerds" a few days ago and saw this. Ballmer is crazy, and I think maybe between him and Gates, the company is "balanced."
