Barclay Apple Rewards Card

Just a question for those who has or have used a Barclay Apple Rewards card before, when you reach 2500 points (redeemable for a $25 Apple or iTunes GC), do they send out a physical gift card to your mailing address and you have to wait for it? Or do they send you an eGift Card via email right away?

I got mine not too long ago and it may have take a couple of days but not too long.
