    Hi guys,

Forgive me if this is a dumb question but is it possible to resize multiple images in Photoshop CS2 at the same time. I can't help but think I'm wasting time resizing my images one by one everytime I need to do this. Is this at all possible?

If any of you guys would be able to help out it would be fantastic!

    Cheers.

    yes...

an Action set would do it pretty easily. Are you familiar with Photoshop actions at all?

...they're called 'actions' and can be recorded from the Actions palette like a macro.

    More info in this thread:

Also, use the 'manual'... when in Photoshop, hit Apple-/ and search for 'Actions'. Read and learn.

Another thing to look up may be droplets, especially if you're running Photoshop only to do the resizing, a droplet can automate that for you.

I've never used any 'actions' or 'droplets' so I'm gonna give it a go now. Seems to be quite a bit to get my head round though!

Thanks, I have to say to have an answer to my question within five minutes is amazing!

    Thank you!

Just want to add that this can also be done without using Photoshop at all.

Automator is quite literally made for these things:

Just had a look at the video you linked to in that other thread at Photoshop Support and that's pretty much explained it all. Not much to get my head round after all!

Very cool! Gonna defineately give that one a go. Cheers!
