    By Rockstar Games. ;)

This is by far and away the best use of Flash I've ever come across... ;)

    • Realtime Flash music sequencer and sampler.
    • 8 Tracks
    • 240 bars of composition
    • Customizable BPM/Pitch control
    • Effects Console
    • Stock Sound Bank, including license free loops by Juan Atkins, Steinski, DJ A. Vee etc.
    • Loop Crafter
    • 2-octave Keyboard
    • Ability to save songs as MP3's.

Perfect for the office. ;) :D

*iGav Advisory* don't blame me if you get sacked for not doing any work. OK. ;)

This appears to be a lot like GarageBand. How does it compare?

iGav, glad that you appreciate the Beaterator. I worked closely with Rockstar Games' in-house designers and developers to create the application, and am hoping people like you take full advantage of its features and capabilities.

I haven't seen many Flash apps that exceed the Beaterator in sheer complexity, but then again, I know the ins and outs of it, and am just more aware of what it took to make it happen. :)

As it relates to GarageBand, the iLife application is more powerful, but of course benefits from being a desktop application. Beaterator's advantage is price (free!) and cross-platform availability.
