So who's up for this next week? Had a good turnout at the iPhone 4 launch.

I'm thinking of queuing up although I have never done it before so not sure what to expect.

I queued for 'the new iPad' on the spare of the moment and after a few hours wished I had come more prepared.

Think I will head down for iPhone 5 launch as well but this time will bring a flask of coffee!

I suspect I'll be there. Not sure about time though.

I have been to most iPhone and iPad launches in Belfast since the store opened. With an 8am launch time I intend to be there around 5:30am which is normally enough time to get a decent place in the queue.

I thought I would be fine to just turn up at the Three store when it opens at 8am as they have booked me in to pick up my phone at that time??

I'd imagine there will have been quite a few people booked to pick up at the 3 store seen as how they probably have the best prices/tariffs

I'm really not one for queuing. I'll nip by in the morning as it's near work. If it's busy I'll come back later or the following day.

Do you think there will be much stock in Victoria Square? Whats a guaranteed time to arrive at to get a phone?

I'm hoping to pop-in about 10 and see if I can get a 32GB Black.
If not then I'll wait for my pre-order that's due October.
I used to love midnight launches of consoles and games but I'm older now with kids and don't have the time or patience for queues.
They can be great though because you're surrounded my like-minded people.

they had enough for the iphone 4 launch and they had to turn people away because the store was closing and gave everyone still in line a ticket for the next day

How long would i be expected to queue for Mikey?
I will have to be back to pick-up my son at 12.
Is it possible that you can queue all day?

not too sure, i was there from about 6am and got my phone about 9:30 but the o2 servers crashed at 8am so there was an extra 45 minute wait for that to be fixed

Was any one at the Three store in Vic. Sq. last year for the 4s launch? Just trying to figure out when I should turn up if I wanna be there for opening (8am) as I gotta get to work after. I'm hoping as there is the Apple Store, a couple of CPW and various other network stores near by that the queue won't be too bad.

Its just cheaper. I'm still in contract, o2 wont upgrade me, and I can offset most of the cost my selling my 4s. Still a 7 hour journey is not enticing at all :D
