Too bad Amazon.com doesn't offer one of those "if you find it cheaper somewhere else within 30 days, let us know and we'll refund the difference plus 10%" deals... you could make out like a bandit. 10% of $97,000 (the likely difference) would be a cool $9,700 in your pocket, PLUS your Powerbook.

as long as you make sure to buy the RAM from Amazon as well... you figure if Amazon is saving you a bit of money on the notebook you might as well give them the order for the "higher-margin" memory
