Hey I was wondering what format most of you guys encode in, OGG, AAC, Mp3, whatever and why. What is the best to encode in, in terms of the best quality to file size ratio, and of course that it will play on everything, not that's that big of an issue i use my computer or ipod anyway, and they play most anything.

Ogg (which is actually the container, Vorbis is the most common codec for it), AAC, and WMA are all much better than MP3. Not surprising really, since MP3 is 15 years old.
