With the Thanksgiving holiday well underway in the United States, Black Friday deals at both online and brick and mortar stores are starting to go live. Many major retail stores like Target, Best Buy, and Walmart will be opening up in the early evening, and most online-only deals are already live.

We've rounded up a few of the absolute best deals that can be had on products like the iPad, iPhone, MacBook, iMac, and Apple Watch below, and even more deals can be found in our full Black Friday roundup, which has a long list of retailers that are offering discounts.

Apple Watch

Both Target and Best Buy are offering Apple Watch deals. At Best Buy, the Apple Watch is up to $100 off, with a $50 discount for Apple Watch Sport models and a $100 discount for stainless steel Apple Watch models.

Target is offering a $100 Target gift card with the full price purchase of any Apple Watch or Apple Watch Sport.

iPhone

With the purchase of an iPhone 6s or 6s Plus on a device installment payment plan from Verizon, Sprint, or AT&T, Target is offering customers a $250 Target gift card.

With the purchase of an iPhone 5s, 6, 6 Plus, 6s, or 6s Plus using AT&T Next or a Verizon device payment plan, Walmart is offering $200 off in the form of a $100 bill credit and a $100 Walmart gift card.

iPad Air 2

There are a lot of deals available on the iPad Air 2, with discounts as high as $150 off.

Sam's Club is discounting its entire stock of iPad Air 2 models by $150, dropping the price of the entry-level Wi-Fi only iPad Air 2 to $349.

Staples is selling the 64GB Wi-Fi only iPad Air 2 at a $150 discount, dropping the price to $449. The 16GB Wi-Fi only model is available at a $125 discount, dropping the price to $374.

Best Buy is selling the 16 and 64GB Wi-Fi only iPad Air 2 at a $100 discount, dropping the price to $399 and $499, respectively. The 128GB Wi-Fi only model is available at a $125 discount, dropping the price to $574.

For those who would prefer a gift card to a straight cash deal, Target is offering a $150 Target gift card with the purchase of any iPad Air 2 model.

iPad mini 4

Best Buy is selling the 64 and 128GB Wi-Fi only iPad mini 4 at a discount of $100, dropping the price to $399 and $499, respectively.

Staples is selling the 16GB Wi-Fi only iPad mini 4 for $299, a $100 discount off the regular price of $399.

For those who would prefer a gift card to a straight cash deal, Target is offering a $100 Target gift card with the purchase of any iPad mini 4 model.

12-inch MacBook

While Adorama and MacMall are offering $100 discounts on the 12-inch Retina MacBook, Best Buy and B&H Photos deals are the best, dropping prices by as much as $200.

Biggest problem with these "deals" are these retailers dont keep enough in stock to even last 2 hours on Thanksgiving morning, let alone Black Friday.

Target, Sams, and Staples, the ones with $150 off the iPad, had no iPad Air 2s as of about 10-11am today in any size, Thanksgiving day. That's insane to even advertise a deal you dont have enough for even 2 hours to sell. So pretty much nothing left for Black Friday itself when that's the whole point of the sale; or likely Cyber Monday. Just bad planning by these stores not to have more ready for the biggest shopping day of the year; which hasn't even hit yet!

Even worse everytime you refresh the Staples selection it shows some in stock and you hit add to cart and out of stock. Their website isn't even working correctly to show out of stock items.

Deals are just a waste of time unless you want to wake up at 6am Thanksgiving day. And they're not getting people into stores anymore when you can go online to buy other items like they used to.

Guess I'll wait for the Air 3 instead of buying an Air 2 today.

Apple TV deal went live I guess last night online at Target. It's completely sold out already. I may venture out later to get one but I'm not hopeful.

Best Buy seems to have many more iPads and other Apple products than they have in the past. Seeing that the sales started last night at 12 Eastern and they still aren't showing sold out online. Going to the store is probably a different story, but Black Friday has always been about the limited number of big ticket items to get people in the door and then a bunch of average sales encouraging people to buy more while they're there.
 
This is a great news for next year's iPad Pro. Something to look forward, I have no plans to buy anything this time.
 
Tempting to jump on the Apple TV for $25 off but I already have 2 of the 3rd gens.

Yeh they're the "second best" deal of $100 off which you could get in some stores before this week really or just get on off Swappa for $450-475 (64gb) or something in mint condition.

The whole point was with Staples I could get another 5% off on my business credit card (office supply stores only) and then 2% on Ebates, plus 2% on my Staples account and $10 off Staples coupon code- plus $25 using VISA checkout. Even if I only got the 7% and $25 Via Checkout credit it would've been just under $400- a great deal for a 64gb at almost $200 off.

I was already a little hesitatnt to buy now if they release the Air 3 at the spring event anyway, but for $400 for a 64gb I couldn't really lose even re-selling it in a few months if the 3 comes out. $499 isn't a steal for me where it's worth risking it as I think Apple will be going back to a spring iPad release with the Pro in the fall.

And more and more people do shopping online now. Getting people into the store with 100 iPads on sale isn't going to cut it anymore.

Most of the B&H deals end tonight at midnight, wonder if they will have deals tomorrow as well...or if the prices will go back up, because honestly I think that is unfair for those who can't do any shopping today.
 
This is the problem with selling a standard configuration as so inadequate. I'd be willing to go for a 4K iMac at a $200 discount, but only if I could get a BTO with the same discount. I don't want the standard configuration with the 5400rpm spinner at pretty much any price (I mean I'd buy it for a few hundred bucks if someone wants to sell it at 75% off... ;)).

Swap out the default hard drive (put into a case for backup), then put in your own - much cheaper than Apple prices too!
 
No chance at iPads on staples or sams club sites...btw Sams Club did not have a discount on the 16 GB version of iPad Air 2. Check your stuff before you report it.

I've been stalking the Apple TV deal on Target and they didn't offer it at the sale price until today, and only in store, and only starting at 6pm. I'm hoping there isn't a big demand for these and I can stop in after dinner tonite.

My understanding is that the whole thing is sealed and accessing the inside components is both very difficult and probably voiding of the warranty. No?
 
What about Apple's official black friday deals? Will they be itunes gift cards again?

Any deals on full priced iphones?

Dang 112 for Apple TV 4 is awesome. Almost makes me wish I waited on grabbing 1 day 1 but whatever I sold my Apple tv2 for 100 bucks a few months ago.

Target is awesome.

Got my air2 64 two months ago for 400.

And after the watch deal and coupons effectively 200 (factoring the gift card)

I also got three Xbox one AAA titles for 90 bucks and sold one so I have rise of tomb raider and black ops3 for effectively 40
