Today, Best Buy announced they will join the various players competing with iTunes in selling movies via digital distribution. They are apparently working with hardware partners to embed their service in products like disc players, etc. (much like some disc players are available that can stream netflix and others). They are partnering with Sonic Solutions- the same group behind Blockbusters DD service, which has access to 22K movies. You might also know the service as CinemaNow

Competition is good. It might light a fire under Apple's a** to get with it and win this war before it's barely got underway.
