Although I still really like "Dogbert's Tech Support" from 8/4/99... ("Hello, I..." "Shut up and reboot." "Hey, it work..." "Shut up and hang up. [next panel] My average call time is improving.")

    Too many to choose from...

There are others I like better (like todays!) but I happen to have this one on my Mac. :D

I thought it was hilarious as well - although I fear for Dilbert, since we all know this isn't going to last. How will it fall apart? We'll know within a week, I'd guess.

And I think Doctor Q's strip is one of my favorites, ever, from any strip.

Very true. My favorite has always been Calvin and Hobbes, though.

Hehe, all of these are pretty good.

To me, this one was the best Dilbert ever. It should be noted that I work in a university hall as an IT advisor...I've had to change my keycard because it has not been working properly about once or twice every month!

Ted complaining to the PHB that his ID card didn't work to get him in the door. Then he network password didn't work. Then his voicemail didn't work. He ends with Is there anything else that not going to work here today? The boss looks sheepish.

The not-so-subtle implication being, of course, that Ted has either BEEN fired already or is about to be fired.

The Dilbert cartoon wasn't nearly as funny as the comics.

Ha, but you didn't show the part from that comic about the stereotypoical Mac user! Of course, the comic also demonstrates that Wally is a typical Wintel user, so I'm not offended. :p

Ha! I remember that one. It was published on the very day our company announced layoffs - and guess what, my pass card didn't work when I tried to get into the office that day.

It was just a faulty card.

Omg, that must've been scary...did you know before or after that layoffs had been announced?

This thread invigorated me to search for a Dashboard widget for Dilbert comics, and guess what I found? :D

Hmmmm? The default strip in the widget is Dilbert. It even popped up to the original comic of this thread (which oddly is yesterday's and not today) when I installed it.

Or, are you talking about something else?
