I thought for sure there would be previous threads about this, but I couldn't find ONE using the search feature  , but my question is which internal HD do you recommend for the Macbook? I currently have the 60GB that it came with but at the rate that I'm downloading music and ripping DVD's it will only last another month or so. I would like to get a 100GB HD but if I could get one that's bigger for not so much more money then that works! :) But I would also like to keep it under $100 (maybe a LITTLE more) if that's possible. Any suggestions?

Just get the biggest/fastest HD you can afford, simple as.

As long as it's sata 2.5" and 9.5mm tall it'll work.

agreed. I got a 100 gig one for my mini thinking it would last.... it's still lasting for me now, but after I moved a lot of stuff onto an external drive because it has 0k free and couldn't save my itunes library anymore

I'm considering getting this 160 GB Samsung disk because my 120 GB disk is filling up rapidly. But I'm trying to hold out for a 5400rpm 200 GB disk (which I've not seen for sale in Norway, yet).

I'd really like to see a 200+ GB 5400 rpm SATA Seagate Momentus... soon...
