Best Joystick/controller X-Plane on G5

    Want to get Dad a new joystick/controller for playing X-Plane v8 on his G5. What would you recommend??? Currently using a microsquat stick--eeeewwww

    When I was younger I always had really good luck with CH.

    Not sure how they are now, but they were top notch back in the nineties.

    yeah the CH stuff is really good. Thats what I use for both my sims

    Agree with the above, CH products are amazing, I have the rudder pedals and yoke will be getting one of their joysticks soon.

    There is one manufacturer who makes rudder pedals almost identical to that found in an aircraft, search the reviews and announcements at flightsim.com

    Most of the cheaper Sticks from Saitek, Microsoft etc. Even a lot of the expensive ones, while good enough for arcade games are far too sloppy for simming, you end up constantly going up and down, left and right :rolleyes:

    I've been wanting to get a new CH stick for a long time, my current one is ADB only :D
