Looking to find a good 40-ish inch flat-screen for the office, to display a Mac mini on. I'm looking for the best possible visuals- ie, what TV can display a non-blurry (or least blurry) resolution coming out of the Mini? (Can the Mini send a non-stretched picture to a TV's native resolution?) Any recommendations would be appreciated! I'm not too learned on the subject.

I've got an LG HD for my mini. Also be careful, I don't think it can support 40" but I may be wrong. Have a look on the LG site, something above 2000:1 contrast is superb for the mini, I have a brand new 8000:1 :D

    Good luck mate

hmmm... OK- so this for example:

    LG 42"

Could the Mac Mini display the native resolution of this screen? (1920x1080)

    See attached:
So the answer without any third party stuff is no.

is that the control panel when it is connected to your TV? Is your TV 720 or 1080?

This is what the Mac Mini specs page says:

    • DVI video output to support digital resolutions up to 1920 by 1200 pixels; supports 20-inch Apple Cinema Display and 23-inch Apple Cinema HD Display; supports coherent digital displays up to 154MHz; supports noncoherent digital displays up to 135MHz
    • VGA video output (using included adapter) to support analog resolutions up to 1920 by 1080 pixels
    • S-video and composite video output to connect directly to a TV or projector (using Apple DVI to Video Adapter, sold separately)

I'll hook it up to my 40" (or 42") later and take a photo, if I remember.
