What has been the best way you messed up an otherwise fine day?

Today I went to work, saw my gf, ate with my family... the usual good stuff. I sat down a few minutes ago to do a lab report (due tomorrow, obviously) and I misplaced my lab book and the results of my experiments  The reports aren't difficult or too long, but without the results I might as well just go to sleep :(

How have you ruined a perfectly good day?

My day's actually been pretty great so far :). Nothing really has happened to ruin it. But I can think of several ways that COULD ruin it.

    I left the womb.

Every day that I'm alive is pretty good, but nothing will ever beat those 9 months.

Having your dad in a really, REALLY bad mood for the whole day until he goes off to work at 9:30P.M. because of a stupid reason, then making me and my mom have a breath of relief? Oh wait, that was yesterday...

Having to wake up an hour earlier to go to the one place you shouldn't be required to go to earlier: school, for a smart people practice, and then learning that you have to go to the competition that you weren't originally planned on going to, or so it seemed? Yep, that would be it.

Hope to never beat one of my old dorm suitemates who took a self-inflicted shot to the nuts, that earned him an ambulance ride.

To make matters more fun for him, he had nothing but tight pants -- which made the swelling quite painful for a long time. :p

    * Yes, being drunk and vaulting crotch high barriers while running in front of a football stadium is only fun until you miss. :D

Tore my ACL. I already had a goal in that game, and tearing up my knee (for the second time) was the "perfect" way to ruin a good game, and a good day.

I'm not touching that one with a 20 foot pole. :D

My friend, you just made my day with that one. :)

That sucks. :( I hate it when people do that to their friends.

Oh well, I definitely have one of the best friends ever! My best friend sent me her results and we discussed them and made all the graphs in the last 3 hours. I'm a happy man once again. I'm definitely getting her a chocolate tomorrow :)

No, we don't want to know how he shot himself there

And I most definitely don't want to find out what would happen if I call my gf by another name, let alone in intimacy! The result would probably have something to do with the above quote ;)
