I'll be at the Birmingham Apple store. Nice and easy to get to, and only 40 minutes from home.

I've actually ordered mine from the website but I'm strongly debating whether to just go and pick it up on the night!

Do you know if it's 6pm release for the Birmingham bullring store?

I'll turn up. Only 1 minute walk from me.

Ordered mine too, only £3.65 for students through BCU.

Pay attention Scott, they are queuing away from HMV & Borders.

I was about 30th in line that day. They had 1200 T shirts and they were all gone before everyone got in that night. The queue for Touchwood a few weeks ago was a lot smaller. :)

Fingers crosses it's no where near that bad next Friday. still, if it is, then maybe tempted to say "sod it" can pop back on Saturday.

Ooo I hadn't thought about going to the Touchwood store actually... that should be a substantially smaller queue hopefully!

bought it online under the higher education national agreement (for £58) but might show up at the birmingham store anyway just to take pictures and try it out...

does BCU have a deal with Apple!? because my uni (Loughborough) doesn't seem very mac friendly at all, so we only get the standard national agreement discount...

I went into the Bullring store this morning to enquire if Leopard would be on sale at 1800 GMT on Friday.

The assistant confirmed it was, anyone hazard a guess at the best time to get there to get a decent place in the queue? I want my tshirt :)

Just popped in to the Birmingham store to enquire about pre-ordering. Sadly they are not taking pre-orders. Asked if they were expecting a huge queue, they are not, they expect it to be busy but are pretty sure they won't run out of stock.

Only downside, it would appear that it's half-term around here so the place is full of bloody kids. Why do they feel the need to stand 10 deep looking at the iPods???
