Hi! Last week I bought a new Mac mini (late 2014) and connect a monitor to the Thunderbolt port via DVI-to-minidisplayport converter. And everything works well except that I can not see anything on screen until User selection screen. As result I can not use single user mode, boot selection panel, etc. How to fix that?

I had this with hdmi to a no brand monitor/TV and swapped to an lg. it was a resolution issue during boot. If I can find the thread on apples forums about it I'll post a link later

I inserted my display to another one port Thunderbolt (closer to USB) and everything is ok!

Great sstyle, it is good that you solved the problem. Now I have a question for you.

Does the problem return if you swap your display cable back to the original Thunderbolt port? :apple:

yes. If I connect to another port again - I have a black screen during boot.
