No one knows, but you can do it yourself.

Nobody on here can answer with any certainty. If someone claims they have a source that gives a yes-or-no answer, don't believe them.

BUT, there are Blu-Ray drives on the market right now that you could put in there, and Toast supports burning Blu-Ray discs right now. Apple even has a manual on how to install/replace an optical drive.

There are claims that Leopard already has support for Bluray movies (commercial ones) through the use of DVD Player and the Sony BWU-100A Recorder in an external Firewire enclosure.

These claims have yet to be substantiated and in most cases can be dismissed as they would either be coming from people who are pirating and hacking software or are in violation of their Non-Disclosure Agreements.

Remember, these are people who on many occasions have given us elaborate mock up iPods, tablets and other imaginary products with wild and outrageous claims.

Blu Ray is currently losing the battle against HD-DVD, so you may want to keep your options open and not commit just yet until the dust settles and prices decrease. ;)

Blu-Ray movie support on Mac OS X would be awesome, bad thing is you will probably still need HDCP hardware, still, knowing Apple (and them being BDA) most likely Leopard (or the next version) will have a friendly way of playing blu-ray movies.
