I was wondering, what are people's feelings about Bob Dole?

Generally, I am a democrat, or further left. I have a real distain for republicans. The vast majority are....well never mind. I do not want to go off subject.

I like Bob Dole. I do not agree with many of his economic opinions and policies. I also disagreed with his defense over social programs and lack of leadership on environmental issues.

But, I always thought Bob was a very honest man and had convictions based on good moral foundation..kind of like Barry Goldwater.

Dole is almost stiff and lame enough to be nominated as a Democratic presidential candidate.

When he did those Viagra commercials all I could think of was "Now does a guy with premature rigor mortis really need Viagra?"

No, I think he's a bonified undead. Maybe a mummy of some kind. He even speaks in the third person like some creepy horror flick creature.

Well said, Bob Dole is a good man, but was not a great canidate for president at that time. He served Kansas and America well, too bad he did not have better luck with the broadcast spectrum issue.

    Why do you ask?
