Say you use Bootcamp...can you play Games for Windows and PC games on your mac?

For Games for Windows, will you be able to get achievements on them?

    Such as Fallout 3.

Can I run that on my macbook Black, the old one, bought just before aluminium macbook was released.

    2.4 Ghz Intel Core Duo
    2GB RAM
    Intel GMA X3100 (Video card)

I dont think you can upgrade video card on Mac, so would I need to get a new Mac with the Nvidia cards to play Fallout 3, or will my mac suffice?

Please answer all questions if possible, thanks in advance. :)

But i would ask around a bit not 100% sure myself

    Should be ok

Thanks, I will wait for a few more replies.

It is just that on the link in my 1st post, it doesnt mention fallout 3 supporting any intel GMA X video cards, just Nvidia and Radeon...

wrong information, Fallout 3 WILL NOT run on your Intel X3100. Not at all! you'll need atleast the 9400m on MacBook. I don't know much about iMac's though..

Yes, Boot Camp let's you run Windows on your Mac as if it were a normal PC. So games and whatnot will work like they regularly do (achievements and all).

You can't upgrade the video card on any Mac (except a Mac Pro). I'd give the games a shot, but honestly don't get your hopes up too much. The GMA X3100 is pretty underwhelming.
