    Hey everyone,

before i start, yes i searched. and searched. and searched. all i could find was people trying to install to an external HD. i am NOT trying to do that!

ok so i have my original MBP HD which has now been put into an EXTERNAL USB HD, it has OSX 10.5.2 i think on it, and a XP partition. both are working and i keep it with me most of the time for emergencies (so i can boot off the osx side of things).

when i boot from OSX via the USB, it works perfectly.. XP however gives me a BSOD then it immediately restarts..

i am just wondering if there are any other threads that i couldnt find, or if there is a simple solution to this..

any help would be great, if this has been posted before i am sorry.

    DoFoT9 :)

further research has yielded so results. this is a bummer. would using a FireWire drive instead of USB2.0 enable me to do this?
