Bringing Mac 4 Service/ remove borrowed software?

    hmm.. i dunno if they'll let you keep this thread, but hey.

    my advice: TAKE EVERY GOD DAMNED BIT OF IT OFF. dont send your computer to repair with things that arent meant to be there. some busybody will screw you over.

    And again, i don't mean to judge, but people don't tend to embrace posts about (possibly) illegal activity. Doing so also runs the risk of mods taking action..... just letting you know.

    Most thieves get caught because they are either lazy or stupid. I'm sure you can figure it out from here.

    let me just clarify my situation before people make assumptions..

    i had a vast mp3 collection on my pb when i sent it in, the guy in the repair center assumed it was stolen music, i got asked and had to prove that it was all purchased/ripped from cd's.

    so basically it was a complete waste of time because somebody tried to be clever.

    i can see how this thread is kinda borderline, but im sure it's a question a lot of people think about..
