my problum ok the screen on my 12" powerbook G4 is black but in the light I can see it is still on I can still use the laptop to full capability, but I can t see anything unless I have a lamp shining on the screen from 1"away, the back light is broken or someting(idk if there is such thing as a back light but that seems like a good name for it). I have experinced this with my old ibook but it would aqlways fix after a moment or after restarting it, i have looked through the manual and everythign and i think this is a hardwear problum, its not like i just have the screen althe way dim, though that is what is wrong and when i put the bright ness to full it looks the same as when i put it to the minimal.

also what is the Email of apple constumer support or help, i can only find a Phone nomber wich will work but I like the idea of email better.

who knows whats wrong with my laptop.. how i can fix it or who I should go to to fix it. idk if there is anyone in my area, my zip code is 04051, will this be cover under my one year warenty i have only had the laptop for a month.

This will be covered under the 1 year warranty. The fastest way to get this taken care of is to call apple, describe the problem, they'll go through some trouble-shooting with you, and then if nothign works, they'll send you a box so that it can go to the repair center.
Usually, they overnight the box to you, it gets there, 2 or 3 days later, it is over nighted back to you again, fixed and new.

If you live close to an apple store take it in and have it looked at. Its free if its under warranty and usually they can fix it right there in the store instead of shipping it off...
