Build quality

    Yesterday in class my prof tripped on the display cable from his Thinkpad to the projector and knocked the laptop to the ground. He had to resnap the whole thing back together. Sure made me glad that i own an apple. I much prefer my screws to his plastic clips. There is no other quality like Apple.

    yeah. but any other PC laptop would have died. Thinkpads are tough.

    Very, very true. Thinkpads are some pretty damn solid laptops, even compared to Macs which will dent (Powerbooks) or crack (iBooks).

    my thinkpad is about 3 years old. Not a single thing has broken on it, and that is after being dropped multiple multiple times.
