Building A Mac

    i heard that there is a place called "core" or something and i cannot locate the site. it is to build apple computers, based on mac OSX. all i want is a motherboard and processors. please help.

    well, I don't know where it is, but FYI, it would be illegal to install Mac OS X on it if you don't put an Apple sticker on it first (or use a branding tool to burn it on there)


    I would like to know where this is too.... Hope someone else knows...

    Well I don't know about illegal...maybe outside the licence agreement yes but I haven't checked that so maybe it's not a stipulation either.

    As for getting Mac parts, this has been discussed recently a few times and the consensus was that it was probably cheaper to buy a mac than to try and source parts.

    I would think that it would be illegal because you would have agreed to a liscense agreement and then broken it.
