I've never used a web camera before. Can people in AIM that don't a we camera still see and hear me or do we both have to have one?

I can't wait to put myself on youtube. hehe. Do I make the isight movies in imovie than upload?

I am very excited as my macbook just shipped from China today.hehe.

    Congrats on the Macbook.

For movies, you can use iMovie and directly record from there, and make your movie as you like. As far as uploading to YouTube, I'm not sure what file format it likes, but you'll probably be able to do it from iMovie just fine.

For webchatting, it depends on the utility you're using. I believe that AIM can do 1-way video chats, but I'm not positive. I know that Skype and Yahoo works, though. There is an old thread here at Macrumors where people posted their iChat IDs, and you could try contacting someone with a webcam to try out the 1-way video.
