Well I am using Mac the Ripper. I didn't do anything but name a folder and push Go. I hope I did it right.
Is there no shareware that I could download to test. I won't be able to get Toast right away.

Open Applications->DVD Player, then, within that, go to File->"Open VIDEO_TS Folder..." and open the folder you just created (or the VIDEO_TS folder within that folder, to be precise). If it plays, you're golden. You'll likely need to press the Play button within DVD Player to start it. Good luck!

Hey It did work after all!
I didn't know I had to push enter. I was just pushing play.
