Can anyone recommend a utility that will make easy work of burning large sets of files across muliple DVDs? I work for a design studio, and our client project files, as you can imagine, are huge.

I've been experimenting with Toast 7, which easily spanned a 34 GB set of files across 9 DVDs, but the idea of relying on the Roxio Restore app that Toast places on each disc scares me a bit. The archives I'm creating are for long-term storage, and I'm concerned about application/OS obsolescence.

    Any input it much appreciated.

If you don't trust Roxio, then I guess the best thing is to divide it manually, or - even better - just buy a 160-200 GB external HD, they are dirt cheap, and fill that (no need for any "dividing"), put it on a shelve and get a new one once it filled.

    divide

I'm pretty sure you can split it up pretty easy with RAR, I know how to do it in Windows using winrar... look around the mac apps, i'd bet it can do the same...
