i got a ps2, and i got a dvd burner. how do i go about backing up my ps2 game collection. I have games that are dvd-rom, can i play the copied games on my ps2? will i need a mod chip? can anyone give me a little info on how to do this.

blank dvds are too expensive for me to try this and have it not work, thanks in advance

Toast should be able to copy DVDs fine. And yes, you will need a modchip. Which type depends on your model. I personally have a non-modded LEGAL ps2, and I've never tried it, but I heard it's very easy. Careful when handling the original 30001 model, the laser gets misaligned very easily they say... although I've dropped mine and it was fine, hah.

Yes, everyone believes he's going to "back them up". Treat your games well and they'll last a long time and if they ever do quit working, they'll be quite cheap by that time.
