The ratings from the last 2 weeks:

    Bush Job Approval
    Cook/RT S.: 41% 11/17-11/20
    Rasmussen: 44% 11/23, 29-30
    Fox News: 42% 11/29-11/30

It looks like the past 2 months were the valley. Bush's lowest was 35% in a CBS News poll 10/30-11/1. (Which, by the way, is only one point lower than Clinton's low of 36% in a 5/26-27/1993 Time/CNN Poll.)

JA Numbers for all recent presidents:

Thats not to say that Bush can't fall lower at some point in the future, but the trend is upward for now.

Glad to hear his numbers are going back up. I guess that means he didn't lie to us about the war after all.

Now THERE'S something for a righty to be truly proud of. Only one point lower than the man you all despise...

I don't get it. How can Bush feel good about the economy when people are constantly afraid they'll be laid off? People like me work extra hours and weekends to prove our "worth" and this fool thinks that's good?

"You're doing a hell of a job, Bushie!"

My guess is the bump in the polls is gas prices declining. Also, people are hearing less about Scooter Libby and Katrina/Brownie and all that. The American public doesn't care too much about the latest fiasco, which is the damage done to our foreign policy by the secret prisons.

Wow. Lied to start a war, completely botched response to Katrina allowing hundreds to die, repeatedly sides with the wacko-right on abortion, taxes, and the poor.

    And he's climbing?

You know, I used to think Bubba was the slickest president ever, but I'm beginning to think he had nothing on Bushco.
