Hi, i was thinking of buying movies from itunes rather than getting blu ray or dvd's. However, ive noticed the files are only about 1.1gb ish which seems a bit small. can someone tell me what the quality is like when watching back on 27" iMac or even bigger TV? and once the movie is downloaded can it then be synced to iphone, ipad etc? what type of file format do you download?
thanks

I would say that the standard itunes movie is about the equivalent of a DVD in quality. You should find it satisfactory on a 27" iMac or an average-sized TV. HD sources will, however, even on these, give you a better, sharper picture. The itunes movie can then be synced to any of Apple's devices.
