I'm interested in finding a nice calculator replacement for the one that came with my Mac. I'm not looking for anything too fancy, just a nice presentation, and one that will re-size.

I did see one that's called Everyday Calculator in the App Store, for .99 that looks promising.

    Any recommendations will be appreciated.

PCalc does everything well, including conversions, without being "fancy". Layouts include basic and scientific, both in small and large versions. There are optional skins. RPN is supported. MAS has the OS X version, and iTunes has the iOS version.

    depends what you need

On my phone I use the default calculator in landscape mode.

On a desktop I use calculatorpi.com. It can be slow at times but absolutely best for engineering calculations.

    For matrix calculations... picalc.com.

That way I don't have to install stuff every time I use a new desktop or phone.
