You know when 'PC' lists calculator as among the cool software he has? I'm missing it on the Mac. Not a widget which I think is distracting, but an app. Which is the best equivalent to Calculator Plus on the Mac?

    Calculator.app does unit/currency conversion.
    Grapher.app does formulas and graphing.
    Anything missing?

Yeah, doesn't Calculator.app do the job? It converts various units, does trigonometry, works in Reverse Polish Notation, can use several bases (2,8,10 and 16), logarithms etc... Just make sure to check the "View" menu first...

Have you tried Google? Does just about everything you could possibly want.

Er... I'm blind. I've perused the Applications list on all my macs thousands of times of course but calculator.app for some reason eluded me until I specifically looked for it

*makes note to get rid of all crap programs I never use so the lists are more manageable on each machine*

    Jeez. How embarrassing.
