ok, so on my new iMac G5 (in sig) i try to play call of duty, i can play it, but there doesn't seem to be a widescreen option, so at 1600/1200 resolution there is a strip at the right side of the screen that isn't being used, and it is flshing from orange to blakc, and is reallly annoying.
i guess my question would be firstly is there any way to make it widescreen? and if not, how do i get it to play like a NORMAL game when not in widescreen

You need the console enabled, and from the console enter:

    seta r_customwidth 1680
    seta r_customheight 1050
    seta r_mode -1
    vid_restart

I'm not sure if you need to restart the game to pick up the changes, it's been a while since I did it. One thing to note though is you'll need to ESC(ape) passed the start up movies, since these wont show in wide screen.
